Ms. Emerson

Tucker has come to love his teacher Ms. Emerson. He'll say her name and then say AWESOME with his hands up in the air. When he sees her in the morning he runs to her and gives her a hug. He is attached to her side and will only go to the classroom if she is going too.

He is learning so much already. When we got in the car the other morning he started talking about rainbows.

Yesterday they got to play with shaving cream and as you can see he is enjoying it.

Baby Room

I am so thankful that Texas Christian has a baby room this year for the teachers kiddos and that Griffin gets to go to school with Tucker and me. He is loving going to his class and all of the teachers love him too. Here are some pictures of him playing in his room.

Bug Bites

Yesterday afternoon as I was getting my class ready to go home the principal walked in and said you need to go check your little one he has hives all over him. Of course I immediately thought it was Griffin but she told me it was Tucker. I got downstairs as fast as I could and he had hives all over his face, arms, and chest and 102 fever. I took him straight to my classroom and gave him benadryl and rushed off to the doctor. While at the doctor I found two bug bites on his leg and his leg was really red and swollen. At this point the hives were covering his back. The doctor ruled it viral but after getting home and putting benadryl cream on his bites the hives went away. I'm no doctor but my ruling is an allergic reaction to whatever bit him. The hives are all gone today but he still has a low grade fever which is a delayed reaction to bug bites I discovered last night.

1st Day of School

Last Thursday, the 14th, we all started our first day of school at Texas Christian. Tucker wasn't too sure about being dropped off the first day but the second morning he wouldn't even tell Mommy goodbye, he went straight for the toys to play. I think he is going to like school. Griffin is adjusting well to being there as well and several people have asked if they can take him home with them because he is always so happy.

Outside

Yesterday we had an unusual cool summer day. We took advantage of it and went outside after lunch. Tucker loved playing in the backyard and Griffin enjoyed the cool air too.
