Mama's Boy

Tucker has been a big mama's boy this week. Mama sure does love all the hugs that she has been getting as he runs to her saying Mama!

Words

Since Tucker has had his tubes put in his ears his vocabulary has been growing immensely.

Hands

Griffin has been getting really good lately at holding on to things with his hands. The other day he grabbed his elephant toy and was holding on to it. Today he reached towards Tucker's hand who was trying to hold his hand.

3 month comparison

3 months old

It hardly seems like it has been 3 months (yesterday) since Griffin joined our family.

Here are some updates on him......

• He has his very first cold, no fun, especially during the summertime heat. 
• He is 12 lbs 9 oz
• He is starting to love playing with toys and gets bored very easily. He reaches out for toys that are hanging down near him and hit toys to light them up.
• He likes to eat every 3-4 hours in the day and will sleep about 6-8 hours at night before waking up for a bottle. 
• He doesn't like to take long naps during the day. He'll last about an hour in his crib but much longer in the moving swing. 
• He enjoys watching people, especially is interested in what his big brother is doing. 
• He is on his reflux meds twice a day now. 
• He is still rolling to his sides and is getting very good at pushing his head up. Dr. Ola said to watch out because as soon as he figures out what to do with his arms he'll be off. 

Take me out to the ball game

 Last night; Mommy, Daddy, Mimi and Pop took 

Tucker to his 1st Houston Astros game. 

 He kept saying phrases like: I don't know and Oh Man! through out most of the game. 

 He loved to clap along with everyone else who was clapping even if it

meant he had to put down whatever was in his hands, he was going to clap along. 

 Daddy got him a hotdog but he of course preferred to eat Mimi's instead. 

Good thing she doesn't mind sharing. 

 He liked to dance along with the music and loved the choo choo that we were close too. 

We made it to the seventh inning stretch but then it was time to go. 

 

Big Brother

Tucker is turning into a great big brother. He is getting diapers for me, concerned when he starts fussing and tries to comfort him, lays down with him, sits next to him, and wants to help shake his bottles up. Yesterday he wanted to help feed Griffin his bottle for the first time. 

Banana's

Tucker loves to eat banana's. This afternoon I gave him the whole banana for the first time and he loved it.

Brothers

Tucker has been warming up more and more to Griffin.

Choo Choo

Every time we are at the mall and Tucker see's the choo choo he gets excited. Today when we were there with Mimi and Aunt Kicken we decided to let him take his first ride on it. He didn't really care for it because the music was too loud but did say choo choo when we walked away.
