Christmas

So far we have celebrated 4 different Christmas'. Here are some of the pictures that we took throughout our celebrations. Mommy did have an unexpected trip to Labor and Delivery on Christmas Eve but everything is fine with her and Griffin.

About a month ago we had a party to reveal to our families if another little boy or a girl was going to be joining our family in 2014. Here are pictures from the party. We are very excited about Griffin joining our family in just a few short months now.

We have been experiencing some real winter weather lately. Today when we were out running errands I put Tucker's big jacket on to keep him warm since the temperature was 36 not counting the wind chill. He was happy about it at first but after I took it off in the car and went to put it back on he wasn't too happy about it anymore.

Home Depot

Last night we went to Home Depot to pick out some paint for the new nursery. As soon as we got Tucker out of the car he was so excited to be there, you think he has been to Home Depot with Daddy before? We got one of those carts that looks like a car and he loved it. He turned that steering wheel around and around while we look at paint.

                                Mommy and Daddy made a big annoucement last night. I'm going to have a little brother.

Herbie Hauler

When I was little we had a ride on toy at my Grandma and Grandpa's called Herbie Hauler. We would ride that thing up and down the drive way. My Mom and Dad still have the original Herbie Hauler at their house that the grandkids play on. For Tucker's 1st birthday his Gigi and PePaw (my Grandma and Grandpa) got him something like it to ride on, the Cappy Coaster. He has been riding on it around the house and pushing himself backwards but has just gotten the forwards motion down. This morning he had fun riding around on his Cappy Coaster in the kitchen.

Baby

Mommy has been talking a lot about a baby lately and pointing to her tummy. I have been very interested in Mommy's growing belly. Tonight when Daddy was taking her 19 week picture I got in on one of the pictures.

Mommy and Daddy go to the doctor in a little over a week and we get to find out if I'm going to have a brother or a sister.

Climber

Well it seems as if we have a little climber on our hands. He has climbed onto the couch, ottoman, and kitchen chair by himself. He also tried to climb from the chair to the end table and fell and hit his head on the baseboard. I'm sure it is the first of many bumps/bruises he will get from climbing.

Cousins

This past week Tucker stayed at Mimi's house because Grandma was out of town. Every day after school his cousin, EmmyKate, was dropped off to spend the afternoon with Mimi too. One afternoon Tucker and EmmyKate were coloring together. He loves getting to spend time with all his cousins.

Pumpkin Carving Party

Tonight we headed to the Sunday School class that Mommy and Daddy have been visiting for their pumpkin carving party. Daddy had a good time carving the pumpkin while Tucker decided it was more fun to play with the toys in the backyard. Daddy did give Tucker a piece of pumpkin to eat and he actually ate some of it.

Fall has begun

Since our weather here in Houston has been a bit cooler Daddy decided that he wanted to make some pumpkin bread. Tonight he started mixing up the pumpkin bread and I decided that I needed to help him. I did a good job stirring up the sugar and helping Daddy to stir up the eggs into the mixture as well.
