6 months old

At 6:05 pm 6 months ago we were in the operating room welcoming Tucker into our family.

Tonight at 6:05 we were out to dinner celebrating my sister, Kristen's, birthday and Tuckers 1/2 birthday. 

What a difference 6 months makes. Can not imagine my life without Tucker in it.

Sleepy Boy

Tucker spent a lot of time playing this evening. So much so that he put himself to sleep on the floor after he had his bath and got his jammies on because he was so tired.

Happy Boy

Tucker sure does love to smile and laugh all of the time now. It just melts my heart to see his smile everyday when I pick him up after work.

Playing

Tucker has gotten really good at playing lately. He has really started to grab onto his toys and play with them. This past weekend he enjoyed playing with his frog rattle and putting his hand through it. He also liked playing with his snail and rolling from his back to his tummy to play with it some more.

One Foot In, One Foot Out

This morning I walked in and found Tucker on his tummy and he had one foot out of his footed pj's that were all buttoned up when he was put to bed last night.

Playing Ball

Tucker has been getting really good at holding on to his toys lately. Today I was holding his ball for him and he took it with one hand and moved it to his mouth and grabbed on with the other hand and then chewed on his ball. Tucker had fun playing ball today.

Rolling Over

Last Saturday, September 8th, Tucker rolled over for the first time from his back to his tummy. This week he has rolled over several more times, most when he is asleep. He still struggles with getting over all the way while playing on the floor but once he gets on to his tummy he is so proud of himself.

Here he is after mommy helped him roll over on Mimi's bed today.
